You know that dental implants would be a great investment in your oral health. But that investment does carry a significant initial expense. That cost only multiplies if you need more than one implant. So you’re understandably interested in finding some affordable dental implants.
We’d like to add a word of caution about “cheap” dental implants. Some implant services are advertised as affordable because there are subpar materials or an inexperienced practitioner behind the product. You must be cautious when shopping around for a cost-effective implant solution.
Fortunately, our office provides two cost-conscious ways for you to replace multiple teeth with dental implants without having to compromise on quality or clinical expertise.
Affordable Dental Implants by Dr. Marion
Snap-On Denture
If you need to replace all your teeth, a snap-on denture is your most affordable dental implant option. Instead of four implants to secure your implant overdenture, we can cut the surgical cost about in half and use only two. It’s not as stable as it would be with four—there will be some up-and-down movement of the denture. But it will keep the denture from sliding around or coming out, and will dramatically improve your chewing ability. It will also act to preserve the bone around the implants, preventing facial collapse. Like a regular denture, you can remove this implant overdenture yourself for regular care and cleaning.
All-on-4 Implants
If you have been without teeth for some time and have been wearing a removable denture, you will have considerable bone loss. A traditional dental implants option would need to include bone grafting to build up the missing bone. Besides a considerable increase in the cost of the procedure, this also introduces delays as you wait for the bone grafting to heal.
A more affordable option would be All-on-4. The All-on-4 is an implant overdenture that rests securely on only four dental implants, placed in the anterior part of your mandible where there is usually more bone. The implants are shorter, and they are angled so that they provide greater resistance to displacement. The result is a very secure restoration that will end up feeling like you have your own natural teeth back.
