Is Dr. David P. Marion the best dentist in Duluth? His favorite dental school professor might say so since he chose Dr. Marion, his former student, to be his own personal dentist.
But there’s really no way to rank dentists to determine who is “the best.” No dentist can claim to have that title. It’s very subjective, so it’s up to you to decide who is the best dentist for you.
There are a few reasons, however, that Dr. Marion stands out in a sea of highly qualified dentists.
Dr. Marion’s Education
The best dentists know that their education doesn’t end upon graduation from dental school.
Dr. Marion has never stopped learning and growing as a professional. He completes triple the amount of continuing education credits that are required for dentists by the State of Georgia. He’s a graduate of the Dawson Master’s program at the Pankey Institute and is an Associate of the American Society of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (ASIRD). To be an Associate of ASIRD, a dentist must be individually invited, submit an application, and pass a rigorous review process. Additionally, approved members must continue to hone their skills and knowledge to maintain their status.
Dr. Marion’s Distinctions and Honors
An active member of the American Dental Association and several other dental societies and associations, Dr. Marion is also notably a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. This is a unique honor that recognizes global leaders in dentistry who devote themselves to becoming better dentists with the goal of serving others. Dr. Marion qualified for this honor by being nominated and receiving an invitation.
Dr. Marion’s Passion for Helping Others
Dr. Marion is actively involved in professional dental treatment volunteer initiatives. He believes that quality dental care is a basic human right and finds fulfillment in using his skills and knowledge to help disadvantaged individuals find relief from dental discomfort.
